Nucleo Agency

Industrial packaging manufacturers in Italy.

Packaging is specified to the millimetre and bought on price per thousand, and the manufacturer who can do one well often cannot do the other. We find the Italian producer that fits the specification, the run length and the market you ship into.

What we source

Availability depends on the manufacturer and the run length. No single plant offers all of these.

  • Corrugated cases and folding cartons
  • Stretch, shrink and flexible films
  • Rigid plastic containers and closures
  • Metal and glass containers
  • IBCs, drums and bulk packaging
  • Labels, sleeves and protective packaging

Why the specification comes first

Two quotations for the same box can describe two different boxes: board grade, flute, print, tolerance and pallet pattern all move the price. A brief that settles those first gets comparable quotations back, which is the point of asking more than one plant.

What the brief needs

What makes this quotable.

Blanks are fine. An open question is usually the starting point. These are simply what a manufacturer needs before it can price anything.

  1. 01Packaging type and material
  2. 02Dimensions, drawing or a sample
  3. 03Annual volume and typical order size
  4. 04Print and finishing requirements
  5. 05Destination market and any compliance needs, such as food contact
  6. 06Delivery terms and timing

Common questions

Can you source packaging for food contact?

Yes, as long as the requirement says so. Food-contact packaging carries its own documentation under EU rules, and we ask for it before an introduction rather than after an order.

Do you handle small runs?

Sometimes. Minimums depend heavily on the process: a printed flexible film and a stock carton have very different floors. Put the realistic volume in the brief and we will tell you whether it is workable.

Tell us what you need sourced.

One brief is enough to start. We read it before we reply.
